This new version of HM-5 is now 100% Japanese Gampi and 30g/m2.
Handmade in Kagawa Prefecture, Shikoku, Japan by Fuji Paper Mill.

Off-white and relatively thick for a 100% Gampi paper.

Gampi yields a strong, crisp sheet that is translucent, with almost no visible fibers. These papers have a very smooth surface and a satin-like sheen that becomes even more apparent with the thinner sheets. The skill required to make these virtually flawless sheets is second only to their beauty. Gampi papers are good for restoration, etching, ink, and digital printing, as well as platinum prints.
